Our History
The Tasgaon Urban Co-operative Bank Ltd., established on 6th February 1936 by Honorable Late Mr. Rao Bahadur Sadashiv Babasaheb Shete and his associates, was founded with the vision to promote the commercial sector and support the low-income group. The invaluable contributions of Hon. Late Shankar Jagannath Kutte and Hon. Late Mahadevrao Gopinath Hingmire played a key role in laying the strong foundation of the bank. With continued support from members and well-wishers, the bank has proudly completed 90 years of dedicated service. Operating from the heart of Draksha Bhumi (The Grape Region) of Sangli District, the bank has emerged as a trusted financial institution, deeply rooted in community development and guided by its core philosophy:
